Indonesia - Red Line Custom Treatment at JICT Circular
Starting 17th September 2013 Jakarta International Container Terminal (JICT) and Local Customs will be using a new system to inspect containers which are processed under the red channel.
These containers will be moved to 2 designated places, being PT. Graha Segara and PT. MTI, with the aim of easing congestion in the port area.
Only Dry containers will be moved to the 2 designated locations. DG, OOG and reefer will still be stored at JICT for customs examination purposes. There will be records at JICT and the 2 designated locations that will enable customers to track the exact location of their containers
