Indonesia : Port Tariff Increases 07-Apr-2015

Indonesian government is currently going through a restructure of its port tariff system and has implemented a regulation (PP # 11 / 2015) that was due for implementation from 26th March 2015. The port tariff increases identified in the regulation have not been endorsed in all ports to date and the implementation in all ports is not clearly communicated. As port agents, Ben Line Indonesia will continue to provide the most up to date information as it becomes available but the principal must be aware that tariff port charges may without notice change,  and be implemented as per the regulation’s new tariff. Agent will charge costs back to back as per invoice from Government authorities.

INSA  (Indonesia Ship Owners Association ) and the government depts are in ongoing discussions regarding this new regulation.
