WaterFront launches a new approach to global ship agency 08-Feb-2017

Press Release dated Tuesday 7 February 2017

Sharaf Shipping Agency and Ben Line Agencies join forces to offer global services through WaterFront Maritime Services

Ben Line and Sharaf Shipping have jointly launched the new global shipping agency WaterFront Maritime Services which goes live with effect 1 April 2017.

With 299 offices in 49 countries the new company, which Ben Line Agencies and Sharaf equally own will focus on the wet and dry bulk shipping markets from its new corporate headquarters in Dubai, UAE supported by commercial offices in Miami and Singapore.

By specialising in particular commodity trades and offering solutions tailored for each individual customer, WaterFront will provide end-to-end control over the shipping supply chain through a single point of contact.  WaterFront’s regional and global agency hubs will work concurrently to monitor all activities and performance in real-time to ensure that every task is accounted for, every procedure followed, paperwork provided and accounts disbursed.
