Custom Regulation for coal exports at South Kalimantan Indonesia 02-Mar-2012

There is a custom regulation which now strictly implemented at Kota Baru (Tj. Pemancingan, Sebuku, Tj. Mangkok, NPLCT, IBT, Tarjun, Batulicin) and Satui area which might cause delays for sailing around 1-2 days after complete loading. This is due to customs requirement to enclose export document such PEB and NPE to be provided by shipper when arranging port clearance at Harbour Master.

Kota Baru customs strictly require all shippers responsible for export documents to show draft survey report after complete loading, meaning there will be a longer processing time to get the export documents and port clearance arrangement confirmed.
