The Ben Line name has been active in shipping since 1825, but why “Ben” ..?
Founded in Scotland, the companies’ vessels were all named after Scottish mountains, as shown on this poster from the 1990’s !. The vessels were well known and respected in the Industry as being of high quality and ground breaking design. As we approach our 200th Anniversary, maintaining the spirit and standards of our history whilst taking the business forward in a manner our partners expect is our ongoing challenge, and one we relish.
